Job Description
A Banking Data Analyst is responsible for analysing financial and customer data to help banks make informed business decisions, improve operations, detect risks, and enhance customer experience. They work closely with business teams, compliance teams, and management to generate insights from large datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse banking and financial data to identify trends and business insights
- Create dashboards and reports using tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
- Monitor customer transactions and identify risk or fraud patterns
- Support decision-making through data-driven recommendations
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve banking operations
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and reporting activities
- Assist in forecasting, customer analytics, and performance tracking
- Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality
